I earned my Master’s Degree from The College of Saint Rose in 2009, and in 2010 became dually licensed in Community Mental Health Counseling and Credentialed Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC). With almost two decades of experience working in various settings including: community-based case management, residential programs, inpatient substance abuse treatment, partial hospital psychiatric program, and with the forensic male substance abuse population in prison, I remain dedicated to continuing my own professional growth.
NY Compass Mental Health Counseling, PLLC was sprouted from the belief that people deserve a therapy experience that feels human, authentic, and genuinely supportive.
Too often, people feel pressured to “hold it together” while quietly struggling with stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, or uncertainty about who they are and where they’re headed. Therapy offers a space to pause, process, and reconnect with yourself without judgment.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Addictions professional with almost 2 decades of experience, I work with adults and couples navigating a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in real connection. I value honesty, humor, self-awareness, and creating an environment where clients feel safe enough to be fully themselves.
